Friends of Barton School

Since its inception in 1993, the Friends of Barton School have raised in the region of £2000 per annum which has been used to fund a variety of projects. The Committee consists of parents and staff, and money is raised through social events held throughout the school year. In the past these have included Children’s Discos, Christmas Fayres, Quiz Nights, Pamper Evenings, Bun Days and a School Tea Towels Sale. We have also enjoyed a few purely social events such as our Healthy Eating Evening and International Evening which were so successful we hope they will become regular events.

Parents are very much involved in the work and life of Barton School. We actively encourage parents to work in school and the teachers are always grateful for their expertise and involvement.
