The Circus Comes to Town ...
Written by Sue Carpenter (Head Teacher)
I very much enjoy the first part of each half term as it is the time that classes do their Entry Point, most exciting part of each IPC topic. And this afternoon, I have been to the Circus! Class 2 have been preparing for several days now, practising circus tricks, planning their costumes and rehearsing jokes. During the morning, the children had their faces painted, came to school in their various costumes and perfected their acts. All of this contributed to a wonderful performance this afternoon. We had clowns, tightrope walkers, lion tamers, horse trainers and performing seals. Children performed tricks and told jokes to make us laugh. It was a great performance and I look forward to more of the activities as the term progresses. Thank you at all the parents for supporting the children with the costumes and props!
